Our brothers and sisters in Ukraine hope and pray that we here in America do not forget them in their trials and tribulations of war. They hope and expect us to 1) pray for them and 2) support them.
And this is exactly what we do here at SS Peter & Paul, the center of all things Ukrainian in Montgomery county. So don't stay home Saturdays and Sundays. Come to Church and pray with us. Both God and our kin in blood and spirit need us NOW, need our prayers and need our support! |
Praying for Peace in UkraineWe continually pray for all who travel to the safety of neighboring nations as well as those who fight for freedom, and the perseverance of liberty, justice, and independence.
*** We continually pray as one united voice throughout all of our churches, throughout our great nation, and throughout all countries in our world that our Lord Jesus will grant our People Freedom, Democracy, and Peace. *** You can still send in monetary donations for aiding our Ukrainian sisters and brothers in this time of need.
Please know that all donations will directly support humanitarian efforts through our Archbishop's initiatives just write your check to SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church *** Our Mailing Address: SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Church PO Box 126 Bridgeport, PA 19405 |

In order to prepare for our Jubilee celebration all parishioners will receive their Gala Invitation mid-summer. We had a very productive meeting last Thursday to prepare and continue planning for this wonderful event in the history of our church. Please spread the word and mark your calendars off to attend on September 15th.
We are appreciative of all our wonderful parishioners who helped in the planning of this momentous event. God Bless All of You! We are always in need of altar servers. So consider serving at the Lord's table with Father Ron. No previous experience is necessary. Father Ron will teach each young person how beautiful it is to be of service with respect, and reverence.

The Patricians Society
will hold a meeting on Wednesday, April 17th from 6:45 - 8:45 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA. (We meet in the coffee hour room -- enter from the Ford St parking lot.) The Topic is Shroud of Turin The Shroud of Turin is believed to be the burial cloth of Jesus. It is the most scientifically-studied object in history. Come learn about the scientific evidence supporting its authenticity and the truths of our Faith that it reveals. All are welcomed to attend. The Society of the Patricians is an informal group of Catholic adults who meet monthly under the direction of Fr. Sam Keyes to learn more about the Roman Catholic Faith so that we can better share it with others. Please come, and bring a friend! Refreshments will be served and free literature will be available. The program is sponsored by the Legion of Mary. More info see the flyer.
Now that the weather is improving, we are hopeful in continuing our work in the cemetery to mark plots to install new stones.
Please pay heed to our exit and entrance signs in order for all to come and leave in safety. |

We appreciate all of our volunteers for our last event in our Hall.
We are so blessed with our wonderful volunteers who took the time and effort to lend a helping hand and welcome our guests to our beautiful hall and church grounds. We are able to serve the public by hosting the bi-weekly meeting of the local AA group, as well as both primary and general elections. In addition, our hall is the official emergency site for the Bridgeport School. We will keep you posted on any future events. |
We truly appreciate all who volunteer, because without their selfless and generous acts, we would not have a successful catering ministry!
Many blessings, Much love and gratitude go out to everyone who helped in anyway! Just remember that Volunteers are always welcomed to help in anyway. Please keep this in mind when you are planning your own To Do Lists. One person can make a difference! And just remember that We can't do without all of YOU! |
